The Golden Gathering: link to scholarship website

In cooperation with the Newberg Education Foundation, the NHS Golden Gathering alumni have provided $14,000 in scholarships between 2008 and 2017 to Newberg High School graduates. After a favorable vote in 2007, the fund was started with a $1,000 donation to the Newberg Education Foundation from the Golden Gathering treasury. 

With the assistance of Edward Jones, continuing fund raising of tax deductible donations and return on the investment, the scholarship fund will ensure scholarships in behalf of the Golden Gathering to future Newberg High School graduates. Fund raising and oversight of the Golden Gathering Scholarship Fund awards are directed by the Scholarship Committee.
